Female/Male Jailers Needed

F/T & P/T shift work positions available at the Hunt County Detention Center.  High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.  Bilingual and certification a plus, but not required, excellent benefits, 2 weeks paid vacation and paid holidays, starting salary $24,941.00.  Must be 20 years of age with no felony conviction(s).  Must pass aptitude test and drug screening. Applications may be obtained at the Hunt County HR Dept., Room 200 in the Hunt County Courthouse or at the Hunt County Detention Center at 2801 Stuart Street.  NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. 

 

Female/Male Juvenile Detention Officer

Fulltime with benefits.  $24,941.00 per year.  Must be 21 years of age and be an U.S. citizen.  Must have a good work history with a clear background.  Supervise the welfare of male and female juvenile detainees. Must be able to be contacted by the department 24 hours a day and must have a valid Texas driver’s license. Hunt County only accepts applications or resumes when there is a posted job vacancy. A separate application for each position is required and applicants must specify the position for which they are applying.
