Birth Records

In order to obtain a Birth Certificate you must complete an Application form. Forms are available through this website or by mail. The Fee is $23.00 per Certified Copy. Mail requests are accepted with an enclosed cashier's check or money order payable to Hunt County Clerk. No personal checks accepted by mail. E-Mail requests are not accepted. The applicant must enclose a copy of his or her Driver's license or a state issued I.D. Birth records are closed records and are only available to immediate family members or the individual named on the certificate. Genealogy researchers may obtain the record if the record is over 75 years old.

Death Records

In order to obtain a Death Certificate you must complete an Application form. Forms are available through this website or by mail. The Fee is $20.00 for the first certified copy and $4.00 for each additional certified copy ordered at the same time. Mail requests are accepted with an enclosed cashier's check or money order payable to the Hunt County Clerk. No personal checks accepted by mail. E-Mail requests are not accepted. The applicant must enclose a copy of his or her Driver's license or a state issued I.D. card. Death records are closed records and are only available to immediate family members. Genealogy researchers may obtain the record if the record is over 25 years old.
